F.A.Q.

Q: On what pressure I have to charge the air system?

Q: How much pressure holds the air tanks?

Q: The new inlet valve is supply without an adapter, how can I charge the compressed air in the circuit?

Q: Why the large and maxi size of landing gears are provide with two flat wire springs for the recovery of L/G in the central position?

Q: I have a model aircraft weight 11 Kg. The Eurokit’s wheels are too soft. How can I make it harder?

Q: Which kind of lubricant I have to use for the maintenance of the air landing gears?

Q: On what pressure I have to charge the air system?
A: The air system can be charge around 6-8 bar (atmospheres) for the single effect L/G and 8-10 bar (atmospheres) for double effect L/G (Professional Line).

Q: How much pressure holds the air tanks?
A: The tanks are make to reach a maximum pressure of 12 bar, however this pressure is not advisable to use for the Eurokit’s landing gears.

Q: The new inlet valve is supply without an adapter, how can I charge the compressed air in the circuit?
A: The new inlet valve is provided with quick connectors, that it doesn’t need an adapter both in intake and exit way of the air, so different of the old one that needs an adapter to be connected at the pump. It is enough to fit in the intake of the inlet valve a piece of tubing, (like the one that we provide with the landing gears) and then connect it at the air pump or at the air compressor. When you have finish the charging of the tank, you have to push the ring on the inlet valve and pull the tubing that you have fit in it for the charging.

Q: Why the large and maxi size of landing gears are provide with two flat wire springs for the recovery of L/G in the central position?
A: On this sizes of L/G are used big legs, only one spring is not enough to support the leg during the retracts in the central position. So it is necessary to join the two springs to hit the centre the legs.

Q: I have a model aircraft weight 11 Kg. The Eurokit’s wheels are too soft. How can I make it harder?
A: To make the wheels harder is enough to buy the sponge inserts of the right sizes so assembled them inside the pneumatics. (unscrewing and getting off the nylon or aluminium rim).

Q: Which kind of lubricant I have to use for the maintenance of the air landing gears?
A: You must use only silicon oil or grease.
